Scenario Rules: Terrain Behaviours

TERRAIN
Terrain and Objectives Overview:
A review of the terrain and victory conditions will be done before unit placement to ensure players understand terrain features, grid squares and objectives.
Stone Walls:
Represent hard cover for Infantry and Artillery units set up directly behind the wall.
Represent soft cover for vehicles set up directly behind the wall.
Represent an obstacle for wheeled vehicles which they can cross the same way infantry can cross them (can advance over the obstacle, not run).
Are not an obstacle for tracked or half tracked vehicles.
Wood fences:
Represent soft cover for Infantry and Artillery units set up directly behind the fence.
Are not an obstacle for any vehicles.
Gates:
Gates in walls / fences are not an obstacle for infantry and can be run through.
Trees:
Any fully tracked vehicle that has a damage value of 8+ (light tank) can move through trees unhindered. All other vehicles must navigate a path around trees. (i.e. a tank can draw a straight line through trees, but a half track would need to follow a cleared path).
